FAQ's

Carbon Dating Peas

>

1. What happens once I have registered?

You can search for other farmers on the interactive map or in the directory to see if any of them are looking for what you are offering. You can then contact them directly and start the conversation to see if it may work.

Other farmers will be looking at the map and directory, so you may be contacted by another farmer if they think your circumstance matches theirs.

2. What happens if I don’t find anyone?

New people are being added all the time, so it is worth checking frequently for any updates. Regular newsletters will also highlight new members to Carbon Dating.

The site also hosts other sources of information that may be useful to develop your plans.

3. Will Carbon Dating manage the relationship between me and another farmer?

Carbon Dating’s aim is to provide the connection but it is up to the farmers or graziers to progress the relationship to see if it will work.

A future aim is to have some example contracts available for download, which would be used as the basis for an arrangement.

Carbon Dating takes no responsibility for any failed relationships. They are interested to know why relationships have or haven’t worked, with the aim of improving the service.
